Admins and Content Managers are responsible for uploading and managing account assets. All assets in Mediagraph live in Folders in the File Vault. You can upload single files, groups of files, or entire folder trees into an existing Folder. You can also import files from your Box.com and Dropbox accounts as well as via SFTP.
This article will walk you through the process of uploading files into the File Vault.
When you upload files, you have the option to add metadata to help keep files organized. For example, you can bulk-tag an entire upload set or go through the images individually.
These are the different metadata fields:
Creator Tag - Who took this photo? You can select yourself or choose from a list of creators.
Description - Add a description to your files. This adds important information and context to your files.
Event - If relevant, you can add an event tag to your asset. Click the dropdown and select an event from the list.
Keywords - You can add tags to files upon upload or go back later and add keywords. For example, if you're uploading a large set of related files, it might be easier to bulk tag when uploading, but if the images are unrelated, it might be better to tag them later.
Usage Rights - To help clarify what uploaded files can be used for, you can choose a Usage Rights statement to apply to the files.
