Supporting International Metadata Standards

Picvario supports the three major international metadata standards: IPTC, XMP, EXIF. The metadata import and export templates in the administrative panel define the standards of the fields of metadata.  

The following metadata fields are included in the default Picvario interface: 
 

Group COMMON:

  • Alt Text (Accessibility) 

Group RIGHTS: 

  • Caption Writer

  • Creator E-Mail

  • Property Release ID 
  • Source

Group GEODATA: 

  • Country 
  • City 
  • State 

Group EXIF: 

  • Height 
  • Width 
  • Filesize 
  • Filename 
  • EXIF Geo (longitude, latitude, altitude) 

Picvario admin can hide the fields they do not need or add any number of fields within the limits of the specified standards. To find out how to add standard metadata fields read the article in help section for admins.
