Rearrange Collections

Rearrange Collections

Rearranging Collections is an easy way to add or remove Collections from Collection Trees.

When you move a Collection into a new Library Organizer or Parent Collection, the Collection will automatically inherit the permissions of the parent container.

Rearrange Collections

  • Enter "rearrange mode" by clicking theRearrange_Mode.png pencil at the top of the Libraries panel.
  • Locate the Collection you want to move and drag it to its desired location.
  • A blue line will appear to indicate where the Collection is being moved.
  • Exit "rearrange mode" by clicking the Rearrange_Mode_-_Shaded.pngpencil again.

The flush blue line in the left photo indicates the Collection “Marketing” will become a top level Collection. The indented blue line in the right photo indicates the Collection “Marketing” will become a Sub-collection under “Animals”.
