Why are my uploads pending?

How do I fix pending uploads?

Why won't my files upload?

You may see that an upload session has stalled, with all files reading Pending Upload. This means that, while the upload session began successfully, something interrupted its trip before it arrived on our servers. In most cases, there is one of two causes:

  • An internet connectivity issue.
  • Navigation away from the page while the upload is in progress.

Unlike most other Mediagraph processes, uploading does not take place in the background, and requires that the Upload page is left open until all files are either Completed or Processing.

If the upload was interrupted, you can try again:

  1. Move all the pending assets to the Trash.
  2. Make sure to Permanently Delete them from the Trash afterwards.
  3. Retry the upload.

If further troubleshooting is necessary, try the upload from another browser. Sometimes, a firewall, antivirus program, or other traffic filtering app can block uploads.

Contact Mediagraph Support if the problem persists.
