Enabling auto tagging will send all newly uploaded image files out for auto tagging with Amazon Rekognition service. Rekognition is most helpful for images with no previous keywording, and which have widely varied general subject matter.
Only Admins are capable of enabling auto-tagging in your Mediagraph account. However, Taggers and above can see and use auto tagging in Mediagraph.
What to expect
- Once you have enabled auto tagging all newly uploaded images will get the auto tags.
- Auto tags are factored into search results from the main search box. In most cases, this is how your members will be making use of auto tags.
- Auto tags are displayed in a new sub-panel in the Filter Panel.
In the Asset Detail View Taggers and above will see the set of auto tags assigned to the file. This is where you can review, apply and remove auto tags from assets.
Enable Auto Tagging
- Go to Manage > Site Settings (this management area is only available to account Admins and Owners).
- Open the accordion “Metadata Settings”. Click “Enable Auto Tagging”.
- Decide if you would like to enable NSFW detection. If enabled, Mediagraph will flag all “sensitive content” in the Filter panel’s NSFW section. Only Library Managers and above can see NSFW content.
- The Auto Tags are displayed in the Filter Panel in their own sub panel. We suggest you leave “Show General Members Auto Tags” unchecked as it may be confusing for general members.
- We recommend leaving the auto tag confidence threshold at 80%.
