Connect Your Canva Account to Mediagraph

The free Mediagraph-Canva integration allows you to access your entire Mediagraph library directly within Canva's design interface. This integration streamlines your creative workflow by eliminating the need to download and upload assets manually, saving you time and ensuring you always have access to your latest brand assets. The integration works with all Canva account types and provides seamless access to your Mediagraph organization's content library.

Install and Connect Mediagraph in Canva

Follow these steps to install the Mediagraph app and connect it to your Canva account. Once connected, you'll be able to browse and use your Mediagraph assets directly in your Canva designs.

  1. Log into your Canva account and select Apps in the left sidebar.
  2. In the "Search Apps" field, type Mediagraph.
  3. Select Mediagraph in the results and click to open it.
  4. Click Using existing design or Use in new design and follow the prompts to open a new Canva design.
  5. Mediagraph will now be showing in the left-hand side panel anytime you open a design.
  6. Click Connect to begin the authorization process.
  7. In the pop-up that opens, select your organization from the drop-down menu and click Authorize.
  8. Click Submit to complete the connection.
  9. Click the name of your Mediagraph organization to access your library.

Using Mediagraph Assets in Your Design

Once connected, you'll see the contents of your Mediagraph library in the left panel. You can now browse and use your brand assets directly in your Canva designs.

  1. Once you've connected your Mediagraph to Canva, you'll see Mediagraph in the left-hand sidebar, and in your list of apps as well.
  2. Opening the Mediagraph app in Canva will show you anything you're able to see in Mediagraph, including all Collections and any of your personal Lightboxes and Projects. Browse through your available assets using Mediagraph's high-powered  search bar, as well as many of the most commonly used Mediagraph filters.
  3. Select an asset by clicking on it in the Mediagraph panel. Drag-and-drop the selected asset into your Canva design canvas to add it to your project. Resize and position the asset as needed within your design.

Save Completed Designs to Mediagraph

Once you've finished creating your design in Canva, you can easily save it back to your Mediagraph library for future use and team collaboration. This feature allows you to maintain a centralized repository of all your completed designs.

  1. Once you're done with the design, open the Mediagraph app in Canva again.
  2. Click Save to Mediagraph at the bottom of the Mediagraph panel.
  3. Select your destination in Mediagraph from the available options. You can upload to a Storage Folder or a Lightbox, depending on your user role in Mediagraph.
  4. Confirm your choice by clicking Save at [Folder Name].
  5. Select your export parameters (format, quality, dimensions, etc.).
  6. Click Export to upload the design to Mediagraph. Note that not all export settings are available without a paid Canva Teams subscription.
  7. The finished design will now be found in your Mediagraph account in the destination folder you selected.
